Oktoberfest Set For Oct. 2-3, 9-10

If you haven't already, it's just about time to dust that Lederhosen or Dirndl off and get set for Oktoberfest!

Oktoberfest at Beethoven Maennerchor is a San Antonio favorite. The tradition continues this year Oct. 2-3, 9-10.

From standard German fare like brats and sauerkraut to musical entertainment by the Beethoven Maennerchor and Damenchor, bands and additional acts, Oktoberfest is a celebration like no other!

"We look forward to this event every year," said Claus Heide, president of Beethoven Maennerchor. "It's a wonderful way to showcase the club, all of the people who work tirelessly day after day to keep Beethoven running, and the wonderful German heritage in south Texas. Hopefully the weather will be cooler and enjoyable."

Tickets for Oktoberfest are available at the gate for a $5 donation, or pre-sale inside the club room for $3. Gates open at 5 p.m. each day with the event lasting until midnight.

Bring your friends. Bring your family. Meet new people, take advantage of German food and drinks, and have a ball.

See you at Oktoberfest!
