Gebirgs Sängerfest - This Saturday!

On Saturday, Sept. 26, German choirs from across the state will gather in New Braunfels at the McKenna Events Center, 801 W. San Antonio Street, for a day of fun and, of course, music at the Gebrigs Sängerfest.

The Gemischter Chor Harmonie, known as the New Braunfels German Choir, will host the event. The concert is open to the public, starting at 1:30 p.m. 

The gathering is a reminder of why these German clubs continue their tradition of music and culture. Visitors will be able to hear a wide variety of musical styles. Participants love to catch up with friends and take part in putting on a performance of this magnitude.

Beethoven's choirs have been prepping for the event for several months, while also getting ready for Oktoberfest at the Halle and other events that will take place this fall.
